November 2005
- November meeting was held in Youghal where a number of new members joined up.
- It was decided to bring the December meeting forward to the 8th Dec and to also have it in Youghal (but different venue) so all are welcome.
- Anyone coming from Cork please contact us via the web site if you wish to share a car or need a lift.
October 2005
- Well its been a quiet enough summer but the monthly meetings continued as usual and a few new members are onboard.
- Check out our new Sponsors section - we are delighted to welcome The One Stop Pet Shop, Youghal in addition to our long term Sponsors Petstop.
- Some more sponsors are in the pipe line and we hope to have details soon.
- Next meeting is going to be held in Youghal where we will get to meet Simon from The One Stop Pet Shop and hopefully a few more new faces.
July 2008
- Meeting held on July 16th in the Wine Vault
- PetExpo exhibition was success (not withstanding the weather!). A significant number of people came to speak with just and there was universal support of the Anti-Dyed Fish Campaign. Thanks once again to PetStop for their support and for providing the tank.
- We now have a dedicated section on the Irish Fish Forum - thanks Anthony and all members of the LKFS. Please use that section for club specific questions but the main forum for all general fish discussions!
- Plans to arrange a trip to some of the larger fish shops in Ireland over the next few weeks - details to be confirmed but if interested or would like to suggest a shop to visit please let us know.
June 2008
- Meeting held on June 18th
- Proposal is to hold next months meeting in the City Center. The Wine Vault Bar (opposite Jury's Hotel on Washington street is the venue)
- Pet Expo 2008 it taking place in Mallow Racecourse on weekend of July 5th/6th. We will have a stand there compliments of Petstop. Thanks very much Petstop and in particular Cillian and Tim, much appreciated!
May 2008
- Meeting held on May 14th
- Meetings will continue on Wednesdays for next Month also
- Prize draw not held due to small attendance so prizes carried over to June Meeting.
April 2008
- Meeting held on April 25th
- Decision to move next months meeting to a Wednesday night as people are busy at weekends
- Provisional agreement for prize to be put up at next meeting from one of our sponsors - more details to follow soon!!!
